Principal Software Engineer, .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical authority for the tribe concerning .NET solutions.

• Assist squads in formulating technical solutions and navigating complex decision-making.

• Oversee the architectural advancement of the company’s applications and services.

• Spearhead cross-functional technical initiatives across various squads.

• Actively engage in agile ceremonies, contributing to technical planning, implementation strategies, and estimations.

• Ensure seamless integration between systems and features developed by diverse teams.

• Advocate for development, architecture, and software quality standards.

• Guarantee the quality, performance, security, and observability of applications.

• Document technical decisions, architectures, and pertinent functional workflows.

• Identify technical risks, challenges, and avenues for ongoing improvement.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and the technical growth of teams.

• Utilize and endorse corporate engineering practices, tools, and standards.

• Collaborate closely with architecture, platform, product, and business sectors.

• Contribute to technological modernization and the continuous evolution of the ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development using .NET / C# and .NET Core.

• Profound understanding of software architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Familiarity with SOLID principles, design patterns, Clean Code, and best engineering practices.

• Experience with automated testing methodologies (TDD, BDD, NUnit and/or xUnit).

• Background in microservices, RESTful APIs, and service integration.

• Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka and Event Hubs).

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis).

• Proficiency in containers and orchestration utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and PaaS services.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Experience with CI/CD processes and version control using Git.

• Background in monitoring, observability, and performance testing.

• Experience with high-performance applications and distributed environments.

• Proven experience working in agile teams.

• Familiarity with ORMs such as Entity Framework and/or Dapper.

• Experience in web projects, integrations, and digital platforms.
