Principal Software Engineer Lead, Kubernetes Product Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of a cloud-native platform utilizing Kubernetes and various cloud-native technologies.

• Collaborate with management and business stakeholders to influence and shape the engineering roadmap.

• Contribute to the enterprise features anticipated from a cloud-native platform.

• Establish best practices and promote knowledge sharing along with mentoring initiatives.

• Lead and collaborate with engineering teams within an Agile framework.

• Create an atmosphere that fosters innovative solutions, swift development cycles, and transparent communication.

• Design, construct, and enhance the Kubernetes Product Platform.

• Streamline performance, reliability, security, and operational requirements to expedite product and service delivery to the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

• Proven leadership experience in Cloud Native Platform Engineering.

• Experience in building and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of the Go programming language.

• Proficient in utilizing Python or Bash for scripting tasks.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP.

• Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.

• Proficient in utilizing CI/CD tools.
