📋 Description

• Transform the way Dockwa develops software and elevate the engineering team's capabilities.

• Enhance automation in the development lifecycle by integrating AI as a fundamental part of the infrastructure.

• Demonstrate AI-driven development methodologies through actual production projects and uplift the team's standards.

• Take ownership of the architecture that facilitates safe and rapid development.

• Make critical architectural decisions for a system that manages real-time traffic and payment transactions.

• Determine the direction of development and guide significant product and engineering initiatives.

• Assist in scaling a fourteen-member engineering team to operate effectively like a team of forty.

• Collaborate across various domains including reservations, payments, financial transactions, dock and slip management, rent roll, boater CRM, service and work orders, accounting integrations, iOS development, and multi-currency international markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Complete ownership of production software from start to finish, including post-launch support.

• Proven fluency in AI demonstrated through tangible production results.

• Proficiency across the entire stack.

• Experience in making architectural decisions for systems that the candidate did not originally develop.

• Evidence of influencing team processes, not just the final product delivered.

• Familiarity with Rails, React, Postgres, AWS, and Swift is advantageous, although practical judgment takes precedence over an exact technology match.
