This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Acts as the Lead Associate providing administrative, reporting, contractual, and financial assistance related to processing payments to FSP investigative sites.
• Reviews and authorizes payments, budgets, reconciliations, etc., ensuring compliance with procedural documents and site contracts.
• Gathers data from various sources to assess and approve payments to sites.
• Evaluates and approves budgets, Subject Visit Templates (SVTs), and study reconciliations.
• May handle investigator payments, oversee refunds, credit notes, late payment fees, pre-payments, or investigator reimbursements.
• Ensures compliance with country-specific regulations that influence the ability to make payments.
• Manages payment responsibilities and workflows to adhere to contracted timelines and project deliverables.
• May address escalations related to payment concerns.
• Educates study teams on site payment procedures, establishing expectations regarding site payment requirements and deliverables.
• Trains and mentors junior team members.
• A Master's degree, preferably in Finance.
• Previous experience in an international corporate setting, ideally with site payments processing, is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including excellent command of the English language.
• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Adaptable and capable of reprioritizing workload to accommodate shifting business demands.
• Proficient in proactively identifying, addressing, and preventing project-related challenges.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in mentoring and coaching others.
• Highly adept at extracting and analyzing relevant information from study documentation.
• Proficient technical skills with the ability to rapidly learn new software; advanced MS Excel; experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), Site Payment platforms, EDC, and financial systems is preferred.
