
Principal, RX Non-Acute Spend Management Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive business development and revenue growth for Rx Non-Acute Spend Management accounts.
• Recognize opportunities for market penetration and enhance bookings within the business unit.
• Act as the Spend Management subject matter expert, influencing MVP, Spend Management team members, and company resources.
• Establish and sustain trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives at client organizations.
• Identify potential prospects and leverage pull-through opportunities for complex new provider organizations.
• Ensure profitability and accountability for sales activities, including fostering executive relationships and regional sales leadership.
• Refine, develop, launch, and implement innovative consulting services and products.
• Support thought leadership, business development, and innovation initiatives.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to executives.
• Prospect, evaluate, and analyze intelligence on new and existing providers.
• Facilitate contracting and implementation processes for providers.
• Build robust pipelines to meet sales objectives.
• Maintain Salesforce records for assigned providers, including contacts, opportunities, and account strategies.
• Preferred relevant degree; advanced degree is advantageous.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare sales, business development, account management, consulting, pharmacy, pharmaceutical services, or healthcare supply chain.
• Demonstrated history of new business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth within the healthcare sector.
• Proven success in selling complex, consultative solutions to healthcare organizations with multiple stakeholders and lengthy sales cycles.
• Required experience in selling to the non-acute healthcare market, including physician practices, long-term care/skilled nursing facilities, specialty pharmacies, home-based care, and/or other non-acute care organizations.
• Strongly preferred pharmacy/Rx sales experience, with a solid understanding of the non-acute pharmacy and medication management landscape.
• Existing relationships with non-acute healthcare executives, pharmacy leaders, physicians, and/or other key decision-makers are desirable.
• Ability to identify market opportunities, formulate sales strategies, build pipelines, and convert prospects into clients.
• Experience collaborating with clinical and operational departments interacting with supply chain, pharmacy, procurement, finance, and/or clinical operations is preferred.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, encompassing value propositions, business cases, ROI demonstration, and complex agreement negotiation.
• Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing abilities.
• Capability to collaborate across sales, account management, consulting, operations, pharmacy, and other internal teams.
• Preferred leadership experience, including guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel regularly and promptly throughout the year to engage with clients, prospects, and business priorities.
