📋 Description

• Exhibit proficiency in gathering and analyzing threat intelligence data across all categories of cyber threats pertinent to the financial services sector.

• Record and convey emerging threats, trends, and their potential implications for the financial services industry promptly.

• Convert your threat intelligence collection into various formats that can be shared efficiently with both internal and external partners.

• Integrate new threat intelligence discoveries into threat intelligence repositories.

• Explore and articulate an adversary’s actions using established frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model.

• Perform in-depth analysis utilizing Palo Alto Networks internal telemetry along with open-source datasets.

• Execute rapid threat analysis for high-priority threat research and urgent inquiries.

• Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for threats associated with the financial services industry.

• Exhibit thought leadership across Unit 42 and within the financial services sector.

• Cultivate strong collaboration with key stakeholders across various functional teams and partner organizations.

• Develop and sustain industry connections.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in threat intelligence, concentrating on a range of threats including ransomware, nation-state actors, cybercrime, supply-chain/third-party risks, cloud, mobile, dark web, offensive security, and insider threats.

• Advanced comprehension of the adversary’s attack lifecycle, TTPs, and high-fidelity indicators of compromise.

• Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as passive DNS, network infrastructure, and host-based information.

• Demonstrated ability as a communicator and collaborator, successful in establishing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Capacity to independently lead tasks and projects while driving process enhancements.

• Established record as a problem solver in complex and frequently ambiguous situations.

• Motivation to tackle the most challenging issues and seek ways to enhance results.

• Ability to comprehend and integrate diverse perspectives, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks based on project demands and deadlines.
