This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a leader in scheduling, influencing program strategies through sophisticated scheduling methodologies.
• Collaborate with the EVMS team, program managers, IPT Leads, and technical personnel to guide decision-making and enhance program outcomes.
• Create and present the Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR), encompassing schedule, performance, and narrative components.
• Relay program execution status, schedule performance, critical path, risks, mitigation strategies, and projected milestones to Government clients in line with contractual reporting obligations.
• Formulate schedule recovery plans and propose actionable mitigation strategies when milestones face potential risks.
• Operate autonomously with minimal daily supervision.
• Share schedule insights, risks, and “what-if” scenarios with senior program and customer stakeholders.
• Convey schedule analysis, execution metrics, and comprehensive program understanding from a cost-informed scheduling viewpoint.
• Develop and sustain intricate Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that comply with EIA-748 standards and industry best practices (PASEG, NDIA).
• Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) to measure risk exposure and devise practical mitigation strategies.
• Establish program scheduling business rhythms and controls.
• Create scheduling artifacts that fulfill contractual and project specifications.
• Engage significantly with program leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree with over 12 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with more than 10 years of progressive scheduling experience in Aerospace & Defense (or equivalent experience in place of a degree).
• Acknowledged proficiency in programmatic scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Demonstrated success in leading schedule management for large, intricate programs.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Project and scheduling analytics.
• Possession of DoD Secret Clearance.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in using Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of advanced scheduling practices, including schedule status processes, multi-project file architecture/environment, EVM reporting, cost and schedule integration, 14-Point Analysis, schedule health assessments, Critical Path Method (CPM), float management, schedule execution metrics, schedule risk modeling, and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Experience in the Aerospace / Defense sector is preferred.
• Scheduling Professional (SP) certification is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Project views, filters, and custom reporting is preferred.
• Current and active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.
