This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• The Principal Program Lead serves as a senior individual contributor tasked with steering the organization’s most intricate and high-visibility strategic programs.
• This role collaborates across business, technology, operations, and external partners to facilitate alignment, governance, execution, risk management, and the delivery of initiatives vital for organizational success.
• Principal Program Leads are assigned to the company’s top-priority strategic initiatives and may shift between programs based on business requirements and portfolio priorities over time.
• These leaders work autonomously and are responsible for achieving successful results in highly matrixed environments.
• The initial focus for this position will revolve around technical delivery and operational readiness related to significant media facility construction and relocation projects.
• By partnering closely with Global Real Estate, Engineering, Production Operations, Technology, Security, and external vendors, the Principal Program Lead will ensure the successful execution of all technology-related workstreams essential for activating and transitioning new media facilities.
• This role does not encompass facility design, construction, or real estate delivery; rather, it acts as the strategic program leader responsible for integrating and coordinating the technology, operational readiness, and business transition activities necessary for successful facility launches.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional programs within complex organizational settings.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering strategic initiatives involving a variety of business, operational, and technology stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in program governance, risk management, dependency management, and executive communication.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed environments.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Ability to effectively engage with executive-level stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to various NBCU markets.
