Principal Product Owner – Medicare Advantage Stars

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the complete ownership of Stars-focused product capabilities that drive ongoing enhancements in Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and significant improvements in member health outcomes.

• Oversees the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and performance of Stars-aligned products and solutions aimed at closing care gaps.

• Enhance member experience and facilitate consistent, scalable Stars performance across various contracts.

• Functions as a dedicated product owner with accountability from inception through value realization.

• Leads cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Clinical, Quality, Growth, Compliance, and Operations to deliver Stars-aligned capabilities on a large scale.

• Analyzes Stars performance data, market trends, and member sub-population insights to guide product decisions and prioritize investments.

• Defines and tracks product-level KPIs that are directly linked to Stars outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare product, strategy, quality, or similar roles.

• Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership, successfully delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable results.

• In-depth understanding of Medicare Advantage, ideally including HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, Part D, and Improvement methodology.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert data and insights into actionable product decisions.

• Exceptional communication and influence abilities, with experience in leading within a matrixed organization.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical/business intelligence tools.
