Principal Product Manager – Threat Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Product Leadership from Ground Up: Take charge of the complete lifecycle of our Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting offerings, from conception and exploration to launch and expansion.

• Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a multi-year product strategy for Threat Intelligence and Hunting that aligns with TENEX's mission to be AI-native, while preserving our competitive edge against evolving threats.

• Integration of Domain Expertise: Collaborate with our Detection Engineering and Security Research teams to convert cutting-edge threat research into automated hunting playbooks and real-time intelligence streams.

• Leadership Across Functions: Steer engineering, design, and go-to-market teams through the intricacies of creating AI-enhanced security products, ensuring that technical investments yield tangible improvements in customer security outcomes.

• Insights into Market and Customers: Engage in thorough discovery sessions with security professionals and CISOs to pinpoint unaddressed needs in the threat intelligence sector and develop products that address alert fatigue and signal-to-noise challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Product Leadership: Proven track record of successfully guiding at least one complex cybersecurity product from initial concept to market acceptance (0 to 1).

• Expertise in Cybersecurity: Extensive knowledge in Threat Intelligence (TIP, feeds, attribution) and Threat Hunting practices (MITRE ATT&CK, hypothesis-driven hunting).

• Background in Product Management: Over 8 years of experience in Product Management within the cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS sector, with a focus on technical products and high-growth environments.

• Proficiency in AI/ML: Strong grasp of how large language models and graph-based reasoning can be utilized to streamline security analyst workflows and enhance threat detection.

• Strong Communication Skills: Capability to convey a clear product vision and intricate technical ideas to both executive stakeholders and technical contributors.
