This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the product roadmap for this new domain: assess what has been outlined, rigorously test the assumptions, and adapt the plan based on your insights.
• Perform thorough discovery by engaging closely with end users and operators, refining the problem definition while collaborating with Design and Engineering on the solution.
• Integrate AI into the product in ways that deliver real value, avoiding superficial features and instead using it to enhance experiences and optimize operations.
• Make informed decisions regarding what to build internally, partner on, or white-label.
• Define the key metrics that matter and hold yourself accountable for achieving them.
• Over 7 years of experience in product management with a proven history of overseeing products from concept to market launch.
• Strong mobile-first mindset: you inherently think in mobile experiences, understand what makes a consumer app engaging, and have successfully launched products utilized on smartphones.
• Ability to thrive in uncertainty and tackle early-stage product challenges: you can operate with a partial playbook, fill in the gaps, and make confident decisions even with incomplete information.
• Excellent discovery skills: you know how to closely engage with customers, synthesize qualitative feedback, and translate it into a clear product vision.
• AI-oriented thinking: you approach product challenges by exploring how intelligent systems can enhance experiences, rather than treating AI as an add-on. You stay updated on the technology's capabilities and incorporate that knowledge into discovery, design, and prioritization discussions.
• A builder’s mentality: you don’t merely draft specifications and pass them off. You prototype, experiment, utilize available tools to rapidly explore concepts, and ensure there is a feedback loop between what you request from engineering and its actual implementation.
• Strong communication abilities: you can influence stakeholders across engineering, design, market strategy, and leadership through effective writing, clear presentations, and building trust without formal authority.
• Bonus points if you possess at least one of the following:
• Experience in proptech, multifamily real estate, or property operations.
• Experience in creating consumer mobile applications with significant engagement, retention, or marketplace dynamics.
• Experience managing third-party integrations or white-label partnerships as part of a product strategy.
• Background in platforms where the end user and the buyer are distinct: you understand this dynamic and know how to develop solutions for both parties.
