This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the product roadmap for this new domain: assess the scope we've outlined, rigorously test the assumptions, and refine the strategy based on your findings.
• Engage in thorough discovery by interacting closely with end users and operators, enhancing the problem definition while collaborating with Design and Engineering on the solution.
• Integrate AI into the product where it adds real value, not merely as a feature checkbox, but as a means to enhance experiences and streamline operations.
• Make informed decisions regarding what to build in-house versus partner with or white-label.
• Define the key metrics and hold yourself accountable to them.
• Over 7 years of experience in product management with a proven history of overseeing products from conception to market launch.
• Mobile-first mindset: you naturally think in terms of mobile experiences, understand what makes a consumer app engaging, and have successfully launched products that users enjoy on their phones.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and tackle early-stage product challenges: you can operate with a limited playbook, bridge the gaps, and make decisive choices with incomplete information.
• Strong discovery skills: you know how to engage with customers, distill qualitative insights, and translate them into a clear product vision.
• AI-native approach: you consider how intelligent systems can enhance experiences when addressing product challenges, rather than treating AI as an afterthought. You stay updated on technological capabilities and incorporate that knowledge into discovery, design, and prioritization discussions.
• A builder’s mindset: you go beyond merely writing specifications and delegating. You prototype, experiment, leverage existing tools for quick idea exploration, and ensure a feedback loop between your requests to engineering and the actual implementation.
• Excellent communication skills: you can effectively influence across engineering, design, go-to-market, and leadership by writing well, presenting clearly, and earning trust without formal authority.
• Bonus points if you possess at least one of the following:
• - Experience in proptech, multifamily real estate, or property operations.
• - Experience in developing consumer mobile applications with significant engagement, retention, or marketplace dynamics.
• - Experience managing third-party integrations or white-label partnerships as part of a product strategy.
• - Background in platforms where the end user and buyer are different individuals: you understand this dynamic and know how to design for both.
