This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the vision and roadmap for client data and AI platforms/products: align strategies with business objectives, identify opportunities for innovation, and guide clients towards enhanced data maturity and data-driven decision-making.
• Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor to executive and senior stakeholders—defining objectives, shaping KPIs/success metrics, and ensuring outcomes align with client value and ROI.
• Convert business requirements into actionable technical guidance: collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and change leaders to define solution scope, requirements, and a product-oriented approach to data investments (platform, products, applications, services).
• Lead planning and execution utilizing agile methodologies: coordinate cross-functional teams, timelines, and dependencies; manage risks, scope, and trade-offs across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Establish and operationalize KPIs for business, customer, product, and teams—monitor performance, communicate updates, and drive necessary adjustments based on data insights.
• Ensure the quality, adoption, and continuous improvement of solutions through testing, validation, stakeholder feedback, and iteration; link solution modifications to organizational change management considerations.
• Assist in business development by shaping solution narratives, contributing to proposals, and engaging in client pitches to demonstrate phData’s capabilities and approach.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data, analytics, and AI; share insights to enhance client strategies and elevate internal practice maturity.
• Extensive experience in product management roles centered on data, analytics, or AI platforms and products.
• Consulting experience with external clients, effectively managing multiple priorities and stakeholders, including sales teams.
• Strong proficiency in data and AI literacy.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms and associated tools.
• Understanding of data modeling/semantic modeling, analytics, and how AI/ML applications address business challenges.
• Familiarity with data and AI architecture and governance principles.
• Proven capability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams (both technical and non-technical) in an agile environment, including multiple product managers and product portfolios.
• Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management.
• Building trusted relationships with executive/C-level stakeholders.
• Translating complex business requirements into feasible technical solutions.
• Clearly communicating intricate concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong understanding of agile and product development life cycles, including backlog management, iterative delivery, and KPI-driven decision-making.
• Experience navigating change-heavy transformations (digital, data, analytics, AI), with knowledge of change management principles and strategies to foster adoption of new platforms and products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a focus on the “big picture” under pressure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to craft and deliver compelling solution and strategy narratives.
• Proficient with project and product management tools and AI-enabled execution tools.
