Principal Product Manager – Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the product strategy and roadmap for Duck Creek’s billing domain, which encompasses invoicing, payment processing, commissions, collections, disbursements, reconciliation, and automation features.

• Function as the general manager for your product, taking ownership of strategy, execution, and financial results.

• Convert insurer billing practices, payment preferences, financial controls, and regulatory factors into well-defined, prioritized product capabilities and outcomes.

• Offer product leadership for billing experiences that enhance billing accuracy, payment flexibility, collections efficiency, and operational productivity.

• Drive organized product discovery to articulate complex billing, payment, and financial operations challenges in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Act as the main product steward for billing and finance personas, ensuring workflows accommodate real-world operational limitations, customer obligations, and service requirements.

• Provide product leadership for application-level decision-support and AI-driven functionalities that enhance payment optimization, collections prioritization, anomaly detection, and exception management within established controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and/or relevant equivalent experience in the functional area.

• Over 7 years of experience in product management within SaaS or enterprise software settings.

• Proven experience managing complex workflow or decision-centric product domains.
