This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Overseeing product execution from start to finish, including collaboration with hardware engineers, drafting specifications and PRDs, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver results.
• Conducting discovery sessions within our early adopter program, which includes numerous internal and external companies, to understand the actual workflows of hardware program execution and transform them into tangible products.
• Serving as the authoritative voice in discussions, capable of engaging effectively with electrical engineers, mechanical leads, or program managers regarding their specific challenges and earning their trust from the outset.
• Steering the product roadmap and meeting deadlines by establishing realistic timelines, communicating them effectively, and consistently delivering on commitments.
• Producing clear and concise documentation across specifications, updates, and customer-facing content, as writing is fundamental to our product development process.
• Prototyping and demonstrating products, presenting them to users early on, leading the demonstrations personally, and iterating based on feedback.
• Proven experience in managing hardware program execution, whether as a New Product Introduction (NPI) or hardware program manager, a hardware, systems, or electrical engineering lead who has overseen programs, or a project manager deeply involved in hardware development.
• Demonstrable experience in taking a new product from concept to reality and successfully shipping it, applicable to both hardware and software.
• High productivity and a proactive approach, evidenced by a history of successful deliveries.
• Exceptional written communication skills that are clear, concise, and well-structured, with the ability to distill complex problems into one-page specifications that are actionable.
• Strong deadline management: you establish commitments, uphold them, and promptly identify any delays.
• In-depth subject-matter expertise with hardware engineers and program teams.
