Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and implementation for our interview platform.

• Assist in defining the roadmap for our product suite; assess how to utilize AI to enhance the evaluation and measurement of a candidate’s technical skills.

• Work collaboratively with leadership to influence Karat's strategy within the dynamic technical assessment market.

• Prioritize features in alignment with customer requirements and business goals.

• Collaborate with engineering, content, and UX teams to provide high-quality solutions.

• Examine assessment data to enhance accuracy; design experiments to test various approaches.

• Utilize our database of hundreds of thousands of candidates to improve insights on candidate performance.

• Track performance metrics and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product management experience in both B2B and B2C sectors, with a preference for prior experience as a software developer.

• Proven background of directly engaging with B2B clients in a SaaS context — adept in customer discovery calls, QBRs, and converting enterprise feedback into product strategies.

• Established experience in defining, launching, marketing, and scaling successful products that demonstrate significant business impact.

• Capability to engage with senior, highly technical leaders at large enterprises on topics concerning the evaluation of core software developer fundamentals.

• Exceptional communication skills; proficient in conveying complex technical ideas to a variety of stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.

• Successful history of delivering executive presentations, effectively communicating business value along with product features and benefits, and securing executive buy-in.
