Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold the long-term vision and roadmap for Identity and Access functionalities across the Everway platform.

• Make prioritization choices influenced by customer impact, platform leverage, business results, technical limitations, and evidence.

• Lead the transition from various legacy identity systems to a cohesive platform foundation, including migration and adoption strategies.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and make build-versus-buy decisions.

• Treat internal product and engineering teams as clients, offering clear platform capabilities, interfaces, and self-service experiences.

• Convert strategy into quantifiable outcomes and iterative delivery plans while maintaining a balance of innovation, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

• Advocate for support of identity, authentication, and educational interoperability standards, ensuring Everway remains secure and interoperable.

• Collaborate with data, analytics, and AI teams to facilitate cross-product reporting, insights, and future platform capabilities.

• Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Security, Design, and Commercial teams through persuasive influence and clear communication.

• Contribute to product management practices and foster the ongoing growth of platform product capabilities across Everway.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, encompassing ownership of complex platform, infrastructure, or technical products.

• Proven experience in defining strategies and roadmaps for multi-stakeholder domains and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.

• Comfortable engaging in discussions about APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and platform architecture, making informed product trade-off decisions.

• Experienced in defining platform capabilities, interfaces, services, or products utilized by internal teams or external developers.

• Capable of balancing customer needs, technical constraints, scalability, and business priorities when making product decisions.

• Proven ability to influence engineering, architecture, security, data, and business stakeholders without formal authority.

• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex concepts into practical business outcomes.

• Proficient in utilizing AI-enabled tools and workflows to enhance research, analysis, prioritization, communication, or product development practices.
