Principal Product Manager, AI Products

📋 Description

• Take charge of use case strategy: Curate and prioritize the portfolio of use cases across AI product lines.

• Consolidate intelligence across various domains: Integrate adoption data, customer insights, competitive indicators, and engineering capabilities into a cohesive understanding of Cisco's AI networking products' current state and future direction.

• Propel go-to-market initiatives: Own the GTM narrative for Cisco Networking's AI offerings.

• Shape the external narrative: Craft the product narrative for executive leadership, analyst interactions (such as Gartner), and customer-facing presentations.

• Establish agent taxonomy and messaging: Define how agentic capabilities are articulated externally.

• Connect networking with central AI: Manage the interdepartmental relationship with Cisco's Central AI organization.

• Foster customer adoption: Work directly with enterprise customers to validate use cases, create adoption frameworks, and guide the transition from early availability to general availability.

• Build coalitions: Align stakeholders across GTM, field sales, analyst relations, CX, and engineering.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management with a focus on delivering enterprise/SaaS software products, preferably in networking, cloud, or monitoring.

• Strong instincts for GTM — you can transform technical capabilities into compelling customer-facing narratives that drive sales.

• Experience in field sales, analyst relations, and marketing.

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies — including large language models, agentic architectures, and multi-agent systems.

• Ability to synthesize insights across multiple product lines and domains into a cohesive narrative and prioritized roadmap.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — capable of briefing a Gartner analyst, a CIO, and engineering leadership all in one week.

• Proven experience in navigating matrixed organizations and building coalitions amidst competing priorities.

• Strong sense of ownership. You organize meetings, draft initial documents, and take decisive actions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
