
Principal Product Manager – AI Platform, Cyber Validation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one of SimSpace's key product portfolios.
• Define the evolution of Environmental Realism to support the development of emerging AI-native security products, autonomous cyber agents, and advanced cyber operations.
• Act as the cross-functional leader for Environmental Realism, uniting engineering, UX, cyber specialists, range content teams, customer-facing organizations, and executive leadership around a unified strategy.
• Foster alignment, navigate challenging prioritization decisions, and ensure that multiple teams operate as a coordinated portfolio rather than as isolated initiatives.
• Collaborate directly with cybersecurity firms, enterprise security organizations, government entities, and internal cyber experts to steer the enhancement of capabilities such as attack simulation, user activity generation, and AI-facilitated environment creation.
• Advocate for SimSpace's Environmental Realism strategy with customers, analysts, and industry partners, translating insights into product strategy and roadmap investments.
• At least 8 years of product management experience with a proven history of delivering successful technical products, or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, platform engineering, simulation, security operations, or enterprise technology.
• Proven experience managing cyber products, platform products, infrastructure products, developer platforms, enterprise technical products, AI/ML platforms, cloud platforms, or other complex systems-oriented products.
• Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate directly with senior engineering leaders on architecture, platform design, APIs, data flows, integrations, scalability, reliability, security, and implementation trade-offs.
• Experience in defining clear functional and non-functional requirements that enable engineering teams to grasp the intended outcomes, constraints, customer value, and success criteria.
• Strategic product judgment, including the ability to link technical platform investments to customer value, market differentiation, business outcomes, and long-term product direction.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts related to attacks, adversary behavior, threat actors, threat emulation, detection, response, controls validation, and security operations.
• Strong understanding of the needs of enterprise customers, technical buying dynamics, stakeholder management, and product discovery in complex B2B environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to convert complex platform, AI, and cybersecurity concepts into clear product strategies and customer value.
• Preferred but not required: Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, autonomous agents, LLM applications, model evaluation, agent evaluation, GPU/CPU performance considerations, data pipelines, or AI development workflows.
• Experience with platform technologies such as cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, hypervisors, APIs, distributed systems, developer experience, observability, or infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cyber ranges, simulation environments, training platforms, security operations, threat emulation, adversary emulation, red team or blue team workflows, incident response, or controls validation.
• Familiarity with security tools or concepts such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK, Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, or Splunk.
• Experience in building or scaling products that cater to both technical operators and executive decision-makers.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH, PMP, PMC, or equivalent experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
