This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee and implement comprehensive UX design, including conceptual models, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Define user navigation, interaction approaches, and mental models for the product.
• Transform the Product and UX vision into cohesive, implementable designs.
• Address uncertainties, highlight gaps, and foresee Technology’s inquiries.
• Create design patterns and interaction guidelines to ensure a consistent UX and UI experience.
• Act as the organization’s design authority and decision-maker for UX design readiness in development.
• Cultivate an ongoing understanding of AgencyBloc customers.
• Collaborate with the UX Strategist & Researcher to engage customers, conduct interviews, and gather usability insights.
• Develop low- to high-fidelity prototypes to assess understanding and interaction.
• Integrate customer feedback continuously throughout the design process.
• Work alongside Product Managers, UX, Technology, and cross-functional teams during the discovery, planning, and development phases.
• Engage in product discovery and definition, shaping both challenges and solutions.
• Contribute to shared components and front-end design standards.
• Articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure that delivered experiences align with the intended design.
• 15+ years of experience in UX or product design within a SaaS or technology-focused environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in conceptual design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• In-depth knowledge of user experience design principles and contemporary product development methodologies.
• Proficient in Figma or similar design tools.
• Experience in contributing to or managing a design system.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineers on front-end design standards and component decisions.
• Familiarity with agile or iterative product development settings.
• Exceptional communication skills for articulating design choices to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A genuine interest in understanding user behavior and workflows.
• Strong expertise in mental models, conceptual design, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience in designing AI-enabled product experiences.
• Ability to think at both component and product levels.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with Product, UX, Technology, architects, engineers, and Client Experience teams.
• Understanding of front-end implementation, component design, feasibility, and design system upkeep.
• Intentional use of AI tools for generating concepts, iterating prototypes, and exploring designs.
• Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to change, and thriving in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Applicants seeking employment in the US must have work authorization that does not presently or in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Potential travel for in-field customer research may be necessary.
