Principal Product Designer, AI Product Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design strategy and implementation for Toast IQ’s AI assistant product.

• Influence interaction design and component creation across web, mobile, and hardware platforms.

• Partner with product teams, engineering, and external collaborators to establish design specifications.

• Foster the adoption of advanced intelligence features and automation tools.

• Demonstrated capability to spearhead high-impact design projects at a principal level.

• Manage the complete design process for essential UX/UI features within Toast’s AI ecosystem.

• Extensive knowledge of emerging AI applications and principles of user-centered design.

• Proven skills in conducting data analysis and user research to guide design choices.

• Expertise in contemporary AI tools (Claude, Codex, etc.) alongside design software such as Figma and Miro.

• Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
