This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the centralized repository for AI use cases and the inventory of approvals.
• Handle the workflow for AI use case intake and conduct initial assessments for completeness.
• Collaborate with business owners to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Evaluate AI use cases for readiness for governance review, including risk assessment, intended use, data considerations, and governance artifacts.
• Facilitate the preparation of impact assessments, solution overviews, model documentation, risk mitigation strategies, quality plans, and monitoring plans.
• Organize and document AI governance meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, decisions, approval conditions, action items, and follow-up tasks.
• Maintain records of governance decisions, limitations, remediation actions, monitoring needs, and escalation triggers in an auditable format.
• Monitor and track approved AI use cases through clearance, go-live approval, ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, retirement, and re-evaluation.
• Maintain records for contractual AI restrictions, disclosure obligations, data-use limitations, approval prerequisites, and relevant state AI regulations.
• Revise AI governance policies, standards, procedures, templates, FAQs, guidance documents, review criteria, and the AI Team SharePoint Intranet Site.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Security, Procurement, and business stakeholders on safeguards, dependencies, approval conditions, and remediation measures.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics for leadership and governance stakeholders.
• Assist with audit readiness, records management, and provide documentation for reviews and inquiries.
• Create process documentation and training materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and refine governance workflows, templates, intake controls, and repository organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Information Governance, Information Security, Compliance, Legal Studies, Health Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in privacy, security, compliance, legal operations, risk management, governance, policy administration, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, HIPAA, and regulated industries is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting governance processes, drafting and editing policies, maintaining trackers or repositories, documenting decisions, and coordinating cross-functional reviews.
• Knowledge of AI governance concepts, generative AI use cases, model and solution documentation, and principles of responsible AI.
• Proficient understanding of privacy, security, and compliance concepts, including data-use limitations, contractual controls, and legal/regulatory obligations impacting AI.
• Familiarity with AI governance and risk frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Exceptional written communication skills for summaries, meeting documentation, governance records, policies, procedures, and leadership reports.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in using Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate across legal, privacy, compliance, technology, and business teams while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AIGP certification is preferred.
• CIPP/US, CIPM, CISSP, or similar certifications are advantageous.
