Principal Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain elastic scaling cloud infrastructure.

• Develop automated pipelines for the training, testing, and deployment of machine learning models.

• Apply observability tools to monitor model drift, accuracy, latency, and performance degradation.

• Act as a liaison between data engineers, ML engineers, and both Backend and Frontend engineers.

• Establish thorough monitoring for system health in conjunction with ML-specific metrics.

• Deploy tools that enable individual teams to oversee their workloads effectively.

• Participate in the on-call rotation and assist in ensuring compliance with established standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 - 10+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise with GCP.

• Strong proficiency in Istio and API Gateways.

• Advanced skills in Terraform.

• Experience with enterprise-grade identity and secrets management.

• Background in operating Airflow in a production environment.

• Comfortable managing Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Elasticsearch, or ClickHouse.

• At least an upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English.
