This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of both strategy and execution to enhance marketing performance in alignment with budgetary constraints and objectives.
• Monitor performance weekly and monthly, making necessary adjustments to optimize target KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (such as Creative, Analytics, MarTech, Product, and Finance) to effectively manage all facets of the channels under your purview.
• Oversee external agencies in executing media buys, negotiations, contracts, and reconciliations.
• Conduct thorough analyses of channel performance regularly and implement strategies for optimization.
• Exhibit thought leadership by consistently presenting recommendations for new testing opportunities and scalable operational methods, including AI-enabled systems.
• Facilitate executive communications by delivering insights and forward-looking strategies during biweekly and quarterly meetings with senior leadership.
• Serve as the expert across channels, remaining informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, beta programs, and best practices.
• Demonstrated success in-house at a rapidly growing direct response B2C start-up, preferably in the Fintech or Insuretech sectors.
• Extensive knowledge of the landscape within your channel of expertise, with experience in at least two of the following: Radio, Podcasts, Direct Mail, Creator Partnerships, or Sponsorships.
• Ability to operate independently, learn swiftly, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment (ideally with experience in startup settings).
• Strong executive presence and communication skills to influence senior leadership, foster cross-functional alignment, and secure buy-in for impactful growth strategies.
• At least 5 years of experience in direct response marketing, including over 3 years managing offline performance marketing campaigns in a high-growth company where user acquisition was crucial to the company's expansion.
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and capability to work efficiently with AI tools (e.g., Hex, Claude, Gemini).
• Enthusiastic about the opportunity to develop marketing strategies and engage in hands-on optimization.
• Experience collaborating with adtech and data teams to prioritize platform and measurement requirements.
