Principal Observability Architect, Splunk, Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, execution, and enhancement of observability platforms.

• Establish architectural standards and frameworks for enterprise observability.

• Design and implement large-scale environments using Splunk and Databricks.

• Create reference architectures and high-level presentations for executives.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

• Connect observability datasets with AI/ML platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Observability, Monitoring, or Security Analytics.

• At least 5 years of experience in architecting large-scale Splunk environments.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing Databricks Lakehouse architectures.

• Extensive experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Databricks.

• Preferred experience managing environments that exceed 50 TB/day, with strong preference for those over 100+ TB/day.

• Proven experience in leading enterprise transformation initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge of Splunk ITSI, Enterprise Security, and SPL Development.

• Strong familiarity with Kafka, OpenTelemetry, and cloud technologies.

• Preferred certifications in Splunk and Databricks.
