This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute network specifications to fulfill customer and program goals.
• Develop device mappings that adhere to customer VLAN microsegmentation standards for facility deployments.
• Diagnose OCI connections to the IHS network, VLAN setups, system-to-system interface connections, protocols, and PPSM matters.
• Partner with cybersecurity to ensure alignment with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, PPSM, and IHS agency regulations.
• Gather artifacts for ATO approval processes.
• Formulate strategies for directing network traffic in collaboration with IHS and GDIT Network and Cybersecurity teams.
• Collaborate with IHS and GDIT Configuration Management and Change Management teams.
• Engage in cross-functional teams that implement new vendor capabilities and greenfield projects.
• Stay informed about rapidly evolving technologies.
• Work alongside management to enhance existing processes.
• Support the federal Indian Health Service PATH EHR modernization initiative.
• Skills: Cloud Networking, Microsegmentation, Networks, Virtual Networking, Zero Trust Architecture.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments (OCI preferred).
• Previous experience in networking and cybersecurity for large Federal programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• More than 8 years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects.
• Training, education, or experience in task coordination.
• Working knowledge of IT project management concepts and tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, if necessary.
• Experience with OCI is preferred; familiarity with Federal instances of OCI is an advantage.
• Prior experience with the Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) system is preferred.
• Experience and/or skills in task management.
• Strong communication and interaction skills with internal/external teams, stakeholders, customer teams, and/or executive leadership.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple U.S. time zones and support the work of others.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in following detailed written policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Skill in producing high-quality documentation.
• Must be eligible to obtain a SSBI (T5) public trust clearance.
• Residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years is required for clearance eligibility.
