This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Establish the strategic vision for Twilio’s marketing technology, data, and AI systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Act as the primary liaison representing the strategic interests of marketing across all cross-functional technology initiatives and engagements.
• Promote marketing innovation through emerging tools and technologies to enhance internal processes, improve business outcomes, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop comprehensive business requirements that connect creative marketing use cases with technical tool capabilities.
• Oversee the recruitment and management of pilot groups for internal Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new marketing tools.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology teams and other relevant partners to ensure progress and accountability for daily execution through diligent tracking and milestone management.
• Act as a strategic intermediary, translating intricate technical challenges and project complexities into clear, concise status updates and escalations for marketing leadership.
• 8+ years of experience in Marketing or GTM strategy, marketing technology, growth engineering, or similar roles, with a proven history of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of contemporary marketing strategies, including PLG & ABM frameworks.
• Systems thinker capable of forming hypotheses, testing them with real users, and iterating swiftly.
• Proficient in using data to support prioritization decisions and assess the success of pilot programs.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to distill high volumes of information into executive-level summaries.
• Highly adept at facilitating smooth information flow across teams and silos, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned with objectives and outcomes.
• Ability to challenge and influence executive-level stakeholders while navigating complex trade-offs regarding prioritization and roadmaps.
• Strong interest in marketing, AI, productivity, and the future of work.
