This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Define and steer the machine learning strategy across various domains and product areas while actively participating in its implementation.

• Design, develop, and scale production machine learning systems, pipelines, and services.

• Establish benchmarks for model architecture, evaluation, deployment, and lifecycle management.

• Lead the creation of intricate machine learning solutions, collaborating with Data Scientists to transition models into production.

• Utilize agentic AI to accelerate development and consistently deliver features.

• Propel the enterprise MLOps strategy, encompassing deployment, monitoring, and model governance.

• Define and execute scalable feature engineering and data pipeline strategies.

• Spearhead cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing machine learning system performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Tackle highly complex, ambiguous technical challenges through hands-on development and technical leadership.

• Mentor senior engineers and shape the technical direction across teams.

• Assess and adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance machine learning capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in constructing and deploying machine learning systems at scale.

• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering extensive, complex machine learning initiatives.

• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost) and distributed systems.

• Extensive programming experience in Python is essential, with preferred experience in Golang.

• Experience in developing data pipelines within cloud environments such as Airflow.

• Familiarity with multi-agent systems and RAG architectures.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data ecosystems.

• Profound understanding of MLOps and production machine learning systems.

• Experience with AI governance guidelines and compliance requirements in the industry.

• Strong software engineering and system design capabilities.
