Principal IT Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the architectural efficiency of data-related projects within the organization.

• Ensures alignment of the enterprise data platform architecture with business and technological strategies and roadmaps, communicating these to business and technical stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

• Develops and sets a technical strategy, standards, roadmaps, and guidelines in the data platform architecture domain in partnership with other architects.

• Identifies and spearheads the selection and deployment of data platforms to support Modern Data Architecture and a variety of end use cases.

• Collaborates with, educates, and mentors architects and technical leaders on modern data architecture methodologies; partners with business and IT to outline transitional and target state data architectures; works alongside enterprise architecture and information management team members to ensure comprehensive value delivery on an enterprise scale for the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and professional experience. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Strong technical expertise.

• Proficient in process management.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Diverse experience implementing all facets of Data Management, Data/Big Data, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Integration/ETL, Metadata Management, and Data Security.

• Demonstrated success in planning, influencing, and leading initiatives across engineering and business units.

• Strong SQL knowledge, performance optimization capabilities, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
