This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical architect and subject matter expert on-site, converting intricate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures.

• Take ownership of the complete infrastructure design process, from initial workshops and problem identification to the creation of high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) design documentation.

• Design and prototype solutions utilizing Red Hat’s portfolio (OpenShift, Ansible, RHEL) to address complex business and mission-related challenges.

• Provide technical leadership and governance for implementation teams, ensuring that solutions are constructed according to specifications and adhere to best practices.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to present design proposals, articulate their value, and establish strategic technology roadmaps.

• Remain at the cutting edge of technology by assessing emerging trends and integrating new Red Hat solutions to fulfill evolving customer requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, expert-level knowledge of Linux system administration (preferably RHEL) and performance optimization.

• Proven architectural and practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and the broader cloud-native ecosystem.

• Strong experience in designing and leading enterprise-scale hybrid cloud implementations and conducting business impact assessments.

• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation technologies, particularly Red Hat Ansible, Terraform, or comparable tools.

• Significant experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., RHEV/oVirt, VMware) in large-scale enterprise settings.

• Demonstrated experience in creating detailed technical architecture documentation (HLD, LLD, network diagrams).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to convey complex technical concepts to senior leadership and technical teams.

• Strategic problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of managing technical designs, risks, and project deliverables.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed (potentially 25-50%).
