Principal Infrastructure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develops and steers the enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy, which encompasses current-state evaluations and future-state planning.

• Collaborates with Architecture and managed service providers to synchronize standards, roadmaps, and execution with business and technology goals.

• Directs infrastructure modernization projects (including cloud adoption, automation, and simplification) to minimize complexity while enhancing scalability and performance.

• Establishes and advances architecture governance, standards, and reference models to ensure uniformity, resilience, and security across all environments.

• Promotes the adoption of observability, reliability, and performance engineering practices to enhance system health and operational results.

• Recognizes and implements opportunities to utilize emerging technologies, AI, and automation to boost efficiency and service delivery.

• Offers architectural guidance for significant technology investments and decisions, ensuring alignment with cost, risk, scalability, and business value.

• Acts as a trusted advisor and change leader, influencing cross-functional teams to embrace modern, integrated infrastructure practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure architecture, cloud architecture, or similar technical leadership roles.

• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives, particularly in cloud adoption, automation, and platform simplification.

• Proven experience in developing and executing architecture roadmaps, standards, and future-state strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.

• Extensive experience across essential infrastructure domains (cloud, networking, compute, storage, security, and operations).

• Expertise in enhancing reliability, observability, and service performance across intricate infrastructure environments.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Technical certification or relevant experience in one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI/AIOps, intelligent automation) and their application in infrastructure operations and service enhancements.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the US.
