Principal Full Stack Developer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Develop full-stack features including React frontends, backend APIs, data layers, and infrastructure scripts.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor fellow engineers, and elevate the team's performance.

• Take the lead on architecture and technical standards without bureaucratic obstacles.

• Work closely with product and design teams to quickly deliver value.

• Take ownership of complex projects from start to finish - we trust you to make the right decisions.

• Enhance performance, scalability, and reliability without unnecessary meetings.

• Diagnose production issues and lead incident response efforts.

• Design and implement secure integrations, including ML prediction engines, LLMs, and third-party APIs with stringent authentication and data handling protocols.

• Create high-performance user interfaces that maintain speed under heavy data loads.

• Develop dashboards that convert complex datasets into clear and actionable insights.

• Scale a multi-tenant SaaS platform and deliver on-prem solutions for enterprise clients as needed.

• Handle security-sensitive data where errors are not an option.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with strong full-stack capabilities.

• At least 4 years of experience with React (Next.js), Nest.js/Express, GraphQL, Docker, and Postgres.

• Proficient in system design and architecture, including CQRS, event sourcing, and distributed systems.

• Capable of building scalable, secure, production-ready systems and taking full ownership of them.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Thrives in high-trust, low-bureaucracy environments.

• Bonus points:

• Experience creating real-time data visualizations or analytics dashboards (tailwind, d3, ag-grid).

• Familiarity with behavioral data, event streams, or time-series analysis.

• Experience deploying ML-powered features into production.

• Proficient in DevOps and CI/CD practices.
