Principal Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Direct the technical vision for video technology that facilitates millions of daily exports.

• Design scalable, high-performance rendering systems and innovate AI-driven video functionalities.

• Collaborate with skilled engineers to address complex challenges and expand the horizons of browser-based video production.

• Partner with senior Principal and Staff Engineers to define technical standards and best practices.

• Mentor and support engineers on architecture-related initiatives, imparting your knowledge in React, systems design, and extensive frontend ecosystems.

• Significant web frontend experience with a demonstrated history of creating sustainable, scalable architectures.

• Profound expertise in React, JavaScript runtimes, and React Native, along with practical experience in developing large-scale systems.

• Strong skills in systems architecture and technical leadership, preferably in settings that accommodate hundreds of engineers.

• Industry connections and contributions to open-source projects in frontend technologies like React, reflecting engagement with the wider technical community.
