Principal Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead pre-deal financial analysis by developing right-to-win screens and unit economics models at both the brand and SKU levels.

• Drive decisions on assortment expansion by pinpointing the SKUs with the highest ROI, modeling sell-through rates, cost-to-serve, and variable retail profit.

• Take ownership and scale the quote engine by crafting defensible, auditable cost-to-serve models that convert brand scope into standardized, automated quotes.

• Close the loop post-launch by assessing quoted economics against actuals, identifying variance drivers, and continuously refining deal models.

• Ensure comprehensive pipeline and capacity visibility through close collaboration with Business Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Outbound teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategy, or operations analytics in eCommerce, marketplace, or fulfillment-related environments, demonstrating a strong ability to influence business decisions.

• Proficient analytics toolkit, including expert-level skills in SQL and Excel, strong capabilities in Power BI (data modeling, DAX), and familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.

• Proven ability to construct scalable economic models, with practical experience in developing quoting frameworks, cost-to-serve engines, and operational guidelines that facilitate rapid growth.

• Outstanding communicator and business partner, capable of translating complex analyses into clear narratives, fostering alignment among senior stakeholders, and performing under tight deadlines.

• Owner’s mindset combined with strong collaboration skills, merging accountability, humility, and resilience to navigate ambiguity and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
