Principal Experience User Researcher, AI Platform

📋 Description

• Contribute to the future of AI-driven experiences at Autodesk.

• Assist in defining how Autodesk Assistant and our extensive AI platform investments deliver significant value to customers across Autodesk's products and workflows.

• Collaborate closely with leaders in product, design, engineering, and data science to identify customer needs, behaviors, and opportunities.

• Utilize customer insights to shape product strategy, roadmap decisions, and the development of Autodesk Assistant and agentic experiences.

• Assess the value, usability, trustworthiness, and effectiveness of Assistant features and AI-driven experiences within Autodesk products.

• Foster cross-team connections to synchronize research initiatives and evaluation methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated history of influencing user experience and business decisions through user research insights.

• Capability to create outstanding user research deliverables showcased in a portfolio.

• Advanced knowledge and creativity in user research and field study techniques, including the design and execution of usability tests, statistical analysis of survey results, heuristic evaluations, participatory design sessions, and focus groups.

• Experience in contributing user research within an agile, platform development context.

• Skill in influencing stakeholders across various divisions, including senior directors, VPs, and C-suite executives.

• Proficiency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong visual and oral storytelling abilities.

• MS/MFA or higher in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Engineering, Psychology, Product Design, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in user research.
