Principal Epidemiologist, Internal Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Provides scientific and strategic direction for RWE/Epidemiology studies.

• Acts as the primary leader for designated studies or scientific workstreams.

• Conducts and supervises literature reviews.

• Assists in assessing real-world data and evaluating the landscape, particularly for new data sets and networks across Europe.

• Ensures quality assurance and contributes to inspection/audit preparedness for RWE/Epi studies.

• Oversees the creation of scientific deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Epidemiology or a related discipline, or substantial experience with a Master's degree.

• Proven experience in designing and/or leading RWE/Epidemiology studies.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in the areas of migraine, obesity, or anti-infectives.

• Background in developing study protocols, research reports, and/or publications.

• Experience collaborating within a matrixed, cross-functional team environment.

• Familiarity with chronic disease fields such as inflammation, immunology, rare diseases, anti-infectives, migraine/obesity, and cardiovascular/metabolic conditions.
