Principal Enterprise Strategist – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic advisory consulting to clients, converting business goals into technology strategies and actionable plans.

• Facilitate long-term IT transformations, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business objectives.

• Proactively identify opportunities by recognizing emerging technical trends.

• Conduct executive-level workshops and multi-practice technology visioning sessions.

• Lead financial impact modeling to back new products, services, and partner-related initiatives.

• Collaborate with teams across Digital Infrastructure, Digital Velocity, Managed Services, and the Global Security Strategy Office (GSSO).

• Assist in solution scaling and transition planning in partnership with R&D and delivery teams.

• Serve as a segment-wide advocate for transformational technologies such as cloud-native platforms, automation, and AI/ML.

• Publish white papers, create reusable intellectual property like frameworks and templates, and deliver presentations externally.

• Provide non-billable advisory oversight during the delivery of multi-practice solutions to maintain architectural integrity and alignment with intended results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required along with 10+ years of experience OR 14+ years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in designing multi-practice solutions for intricate customer environments.

• Strong knowledge of Cloud, applications, data, security, modern infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS technologies, and AI.

• Demonstrated ability to influence business and IT stakeholders at the executive level.

• Proven success in building and delivering enterprise technology roadmaps and digital transformation strategies.

• Relevant certifications across multiple disciplines are an advantage, including AWS Solutions Architect and Azure Architect Expert.

• A background in industry-specific architecture, particularly in financial services, is beneficial.

• A strategic mindset with the capability to transform vision into actionable strategies is desirable.

• Executive presence with exceptional communication skills is advantageous.

• Cross-domain expertise in integrated technology solutions is beneficial.

• A focus on innovation and agility in dynamic environments is preferred.

• Collaborative leadership experience across sales, engineering, and delivery teams is a plus.

• An outcome-driven approach focused on measurable business impact is preferred.
