Principal Enterprise Strategist – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic advisory consulting to clients by translating their business goals into technology strategies and actionable roadmaps.

• Facilitate long-term IT transformation, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business objectives.

• Spot emerging technical trends to identify opportunities early on.

• Conduct workshops for executives and lead multi-practice technology visioning sessions.

• Direct financial impact modeling to support new products, services, and initiatives related to partners.

• Collaborate with teams across Digital Infrastructure, Digital Velocity, Managed Services, and the Global Security Strategy Office (GSSO).

• Assist in scaling solutions and transition planning in partnership with R&D and delivery teams.

• Serve as a segment-wide champion for transformational technologies, including cloud-native platforms, automation, and AI/ML.

• Create white papers, develop reusable intellectual property such as frameworks and templates, and deliver presentations externally.

• Provide non-billable advisory oversight during the delivery of multi-practice solutions to ensure architectural integrity and alignment with intended outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, with 10+ years of experience, or 14+ years of relevant work experience required.

• Experience in designing multi-practice solutions within complex customer environments.

• Strong knowledge of CDW’s portfolio, including Cloud, applications, data, security, modern infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS technologies, and AI.

• Proven ability to influence both business and IT stakeholders at the executive level.

• Demonstrated success in building and delivering enterprise technology roadmaps and digital transformation strategies.

• Certifications in multiple disciplines, such as AWS Solutions Architect and Azure Architect Expert, are advantageous.

• Background in vertical-specific architecture, such as financial services, is beneficial.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to convert vision into executable strategies is preferred.

• Executive presence coupled with strong communication skills is a plus.

• Cross-domain expertise in integrated technology solutions is advantageous.

• Innovation and agility in fast-paced environments are desirable.

• Collaborative leadership experience across sales, engineering, and delivery teams is a plus.

• An outcome-driven focus on measurable business impact is preferred.
