Principal Enterprise Architect, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assess application inventories, architecture diagrams, and existing technology evaluations.

• Conduct interviews with technology and business stakeholders to validate their current setups.

• Outline key systems, data flows, dependencies, and ownership structures.

• Create actionable future architecture plans and evaluate delivery options.

• Estimate the effort, costs, and dependencies related to proposed changes.

• Produce clear findings and recommendations tailored for technology leaders and executive audiences.

• Collaborate directly with Intelance’s engagement partner, who is responsible for the overall engagement.

• Integrate business systems, data, Microsoft services, cloud hosting, and delivery responsibilities.

• Assignments may encompass approximately 16 days over an eight-week assessment; scope and days are confirmed for each task.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading enterprise architecture assessments in financial services or a closely related regulated sector.

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, data platforms, and system integration.

• Ability to align technical decisions with business priorities, supplier agreements, and costs.

• Experience in producing both current state maps and feasible future designs.

• Strong writing skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior business and technology executives.

• Experience in pensions administration is advantageous but not mandatory.

• TOGAF certification or equivalent practical architecture experience is preferred.
