Principal Engineering Manager – Head of AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Establish and lead the Agentic Platform team from the ground up, taking on the role of the technical visionary and "Head of AI" for the region.

• Design and develop the foundational Agentic AI platform, creating autonomous agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing intricate workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

• Actively engage in coding and prototyping essential system components (Python/LLM frameworks), setting a benchmark for code quality and architectural standards.

• Partner with global executive leadership to outline the AI product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with Deep Sync’s overarching data and identity strategy.

• Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-achieving team of AI engineers and data scientists, cultivating a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.

• Spearhead the incorporation of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies into our deterministic identity graph and marketing solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 12 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in a technical leadership or management position.

• Profound understanding of the Agentic AI ecosystem (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel) and experience in constructing autonomous agent workflows.

• Advanced programming expertise in Python; knowledge of Java or C++ is an added advantage.

• Significant experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.

• Proven experience in designing scalable systems on cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and utilizing containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Previous experience in a startup setting or as a founding member of a new team/product vertical is highly advantageous.
