This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Platform and Data Engineering teams.

• Ensure that the technical infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and user-friendly.

• Manage and provide support to engineers across various teams.

• Facilitate discussions regarding technical matters and conduct architecture reviews.

• Participate in code reviews and technical tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing engineers within platform, infrastructure, or data teams.

• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, Cloud SQL, Cloud Logging, BigQuery), though AWS or Azure experience is also acceptable.

• Proven experience in designing and managing Kubernetes-based environments.

• Solid understanding of data engineering principles.

• Proficient in SQL, relational database concepts, and contemporary backend development practices.
