Principal Engineer, People and Culture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Development of comprehensive engineering design packages for protective relaying and communication systems.

• Offers technical guidance and on-the-job training to drafters, engineering technicians, and less experienced engineers.

• Cultivates and sustains trusted relationships with senior engineers, managers, and executives at current or prospective client organizations.

• Confidently and comfortably presents technical solutions to key customers.

• Collaborates effectively with relevant groups and individuals to create and implement technical solutions.

• Plays a pivotal role in setting the technical direction for the Relay Settings organization.

• Provides leadership by assigning and reviewing projects or job tasks while mentoring less experienced engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (not an engineering technology program).

• An international engineering degree will be considered.

• A postgraduate engineering/science or business degree is also preferred.

• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of electrical engineering experience is required.

• Experience in protection and control engineering is necessary.
