This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement data standards, policies, and guidelines to guarantee that data deliveries and architecture artifacts uphold integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the business area/domain.
• Ensure conformity with Data Governance frameworks and IT initiatives within the business area/domain.
• Supervise data modeling within the business area/domain and ensure its global alignment.
• Foster communication and collaboration for the adoption and upkeep of data policies and frameworks.
• Propel the management and adoption of data policies and frameworks within the business area/domain across EMEA and globally.
• Influence data architecture choices for Data Solutions/Products.
• Work together with IT teams and business stakeholders to achieve alignment on data policies and standards.
• Participate in discussions regarding data architecture and guide decision-making in this domain.
• Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture and data management.
• Leverage industry knowledge to develop future-oriented data architecture capability roadmaps.
• Total Experience of 12+ years.
• Business knowledge/SME in one or more of the following domains: Risk, Finance, Transactions, Compliance, etc.
• Extensive understanding of regulatory reporting requirements in these areas across EMEA and the related solution landscape.
• Solid grasp of the Trade Lifecycle, its participants/roles and responsibilities, and how data is managed throughout this lifecycle.
• Specialization in regulatory reporting areas such as ILAAP, FINREP, STE, TTR, CCR, etc., will be an additional advantage.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise data architecture policies and target states.
• Experience in establishing governance functions, drafting Terms of Reference (ToRs), and chairing governance forums.
• Capability to create data flows across domains (target states, transition states, etc.).
• Proficiency in reviewing data architecture artifacts and making decisions in accordance with policies and standards.
• Experience with data modeling and industry standards (e.g., FSLDM, BIRD).
• Knowledge of current data methodologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Hybrid, Agentic).
• Data modeling expertise/knowledge.
• Experience in evaluating and recommending data tools.
• Practical experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Collibra and Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, etc.
