This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Develop and implement new product features based on defined requirements while upholding high standards of professional development.

• Serve as a back-end server engineer within an agile development team alongside developers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers.

• Engage in all stages of the development lifecycle.

• Design and create components for Java applications to support existing code and develop new services.

• Address technological and usability challenges.

• Ensure comprehensive unit, system, and integration testing.

• Offer solution support and troubleshooting after deployment.

• Advocate for agile principles and methodologies.

• Contribute to the overall direction and vision of the product suite through feature enhancements and bug resolutions.

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in a commercial software development position.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

• Strong skills in object-oriented programming.

• Practical experience with Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, and SQL.

• Knowledge of message queues, event sourcing, and NoSQL data storage solutions.

• Experience in optimizing performance and troubleshooting Java applications.

• Proficiency with Linux and shell or other Unix scripting languages.

• Familiarity with Oracle and relational databases, including installation, administration, and performance tuning.

• Experience working with application servers.

• Background in the complete software development lifecycle using an Agile methodology.

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and DevOps practices.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with IntelliJ, JUnit, or JunitPerf.

• Familiarity with WebLogic application server.

• Experience with SOAP web services.

• Experience in healthcare applications is advantageous.
