This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Plan, install, configure, and commission time and frequency equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues pertaining to time and frequency systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
• Deliver on-site and remote technical support and training to customers and end-users.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, service reports, and project records.
• Lead and collaborate with internal teams and clients to fulfill project requirements and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during field operations.
• Communicate with customers, providing updates, guidance, and technical expertise.
• Travel as necessary for customer support, including occasional short-notice travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in field engineering, particularly with time and frequency systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant tools, software, and equipment for time and frequency systems.
• Background in customer support, project management, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer support, including occasional short-notice travel.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
• Preferred experience with GPS, frequency standards, clocks, NTP/PTP servers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, time and frequency counters, and digital multimeters.
• Preferred familiarity with Linux scripting and Python.
• Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio.
• Preferred understanding of project management and customer service principles.
