Principal DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Enhance our platform deployment for clients.

• Advance our internal CI/CD processes.

• Create and implement a scalability and performance benchmarking platform, collaborating with our Product Engineering team as users.

• Collaborate with our Engineers as your clients, facilitating the broader Technology team’s focus on core product development.

• Design, suggest, and execute enhancements to our deployment pipelines, environment provisioning, and benchmarking solutions, simplifying the installation and configuration of Data X-Ray for both clients and internal use.

• Partner with Customer Success engineers and Solution Architects to ensure we meet our clients' expectations.

• Guarantee that our applications adhere to industry best practices regarding deployment, logging, monitoring, and security.

• Assist in safeguarding the data rights of millions of our client's customers.

• Practical experience with container and deployment tools such as Docker, Podman, Ansible, or other IAC tools.

• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including configuring load balancers, issuing certificates, and configuring VPC.

• Experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Hetzner).

• Familiarity with best practices for on-premise deployment and operations (blue/green deployment, database recovery management, monitoring tools, and logging).
