Principal DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud-native infrastructure on AWS utilizing GitLab CI/CD.

• Construct and maintain Kubernetes platforms, including Amazon EKS, with an emphasis on scalability, security, and high availability.

• Create and automate ETL workflows and data pipelines for analytics and AI applications.

• Execute and support MLOps/AIOps and FinOps capabilities, including AI infrastructure and model deployment workflows.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in Linux-based systems.

• Enhance platform performance and uphold operational best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.

• Practical knowledge of AWS, Amazon EKS, Linux, and GitLab CI/CD.

• Extensive experience with SQL, ETL automation, and the development of scalable data pipelines.

• Background in implementing or supporting AI, MLOps, or AIOps platforms.

• Proficient scripting and automation skills, particularly in cloud-native technologies.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• BI Full 6C (T4) public trust requirement.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and platform development.

• Preferred: Understanding of container security, Kubernetes networking, and observability tools.

• Preferred: Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Datadog.

• Preferred: Experience with AI/ML frameworks, vector databases, or enterprise LLM integrations.

• AWS certifications are preferred.
