Principal Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement data ingestion and processing pipelines.

• Construct Lakehouse architecture.

• Execute cataloging, lineage tracking, and observability measures.

• Guarantee data quality, availability, and security.

• Establish data engineering standards for the program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering.

• Expertise in Databricks, SQL, and data pipeline development.

• Understanding of Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Catalog principles.

• Experience with scalable architectural solutions.

• Strong communication skills.

• Systemic (holistic) thinking capabilities.

• Collaborative approach to technical leadership.

• Ability to mentor others.

• Pragmatic problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working across multiple teams and diverse technology environments.

• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Kafka and Streaming; Delta Lake; Event-Driven architectures; familiarity with handling sensitive data and compliance issues.
