This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Provide technical guidance and empower a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers to develop, enhance, and maintain data products.
• Engage in diverse projects for various clients across multiple subject-matter areas.
• Take part in design and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with strategy, customer experience, product, and non-technical program management teams.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to security and performance best practices.
• Create and maintain design documentation along with other client-required materials.
• Communicate with customer teams to align on technical solutions.
• Understand requirements and suggest viable technical solutions, choosing suitable frameworks.
• Ensure a stable and productive development environment.
• Extensive experience in architectural design and technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying pipelines, data lakes, data meshes, and other data products.
• Proven capability to understand, question, prioritize, and translate business challenges into data solutions (BI, analytics, deterministic and statistical models, machine learning).
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience in identifying, gathering, and prioritizing non-functional requirements, technical pain points, and environmental/client constraints.
• Familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience using data pipeline orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory or Apache Airflow.
• Proven experience in scaling data workloads.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and MLOps pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• History of collaborating with pre-sales, presenting data solutions, and demonstrating technical capabilities to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to develop proofs of concept and implement complex coding solutions.
• Willingness to work with various technologies and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Capacity to share knowledge with junior team members.
• Proficiency in English: Advanced/Fluent.
