This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct comprehensive business case analyses, financial modeling, and analytical frameworks that inform decisions regarding pricing, retention, expansion, margin, cash flow, and efficiency.
• Create and sustain driver-based financial and operational models that align budgets, targets, anticipated outcomes, decisions, and levers with P&L and cash, enabling the business to monitor performance and validate impact.
• Establish the analytical data infrastructure across finance, GTM, and the customer lifecycle by collaborating with internal systems/data resources and cross-functional teams to organize, reconcile, and transform data from various systems into dependable inputs for models, reporting, insights, and decision support.
• Collaborate across functions to convert company priorities into quantifiable goals, roadmaps, and operational actions, directly engaging with finance and operations leaders to drive change and monitor progress.
• Develop the business intelligence and reporting framework that provides leadership with a clearer and quicker view of performance outcomes, including ARR growth, cash management, profitability, and unit economics.
• Create repeatable processes that transform inputs from diverse teams and systems into clear outputs for leaders, defining ownership, handoffs, timelines, and follow-through.
• Leverage modern tools, automation, and AI whenever feasible to minimize manual tasks, enhance analysis, and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling skills - capable of constructing intricate, well-structured, driver-based models from complex inputs.
• Strong data management abilities - skilled in extracting, cleaning, mapping, transforming, and reconciling data from multiple systems to establish a reliable foundation for analysis, reporting, and decision support. Competent in both spreadsheets and advanced tools.
• Knowledgeable in SaaS unit economics, including LTV/CAC, ARR, NRR, GRR, cohort retention, payback, margin, and cash flow, and their role in driving decisions and sustainable growth.
• Strong business intelligence capabilities - adept at utilizing BI concepts and tools like Power BI to create reports that empower leaders to comprehend performance and make informed decisions.
• Practical experience in applying automation or AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual tasks, improve data quality, or expedite analysis while maintaining security and practicality.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and unstructured data; skilled in cleaning, structuring, and integrating data rather than waiting for it to be flawless.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with SaaS enterprise systems such as HubSpot, Maxio, Xero, QuickBooks, ScaleXP, Stripe, NetSuite, or similar finance, billing, CX, CRM, ERP, and reporting platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Excel/Power Query, SQL, data warehouses, Business Intelligence, or similar tools used to clean, structure, and make financial and operational data accessible.
